Update on Kate Middleton as first official engagement since surgery is announced

Kate Middleton’s Official Return to Royal Duties Announced After Recovery

There’s been a lot of speculation surrounding **Kate Middleton**, the Princess of Wales, lately—especially regarding the “abdominal procedure” she recently underwent, which has kept her out of the public eye until after Easter. But now, there’s some exciting news for royal fans: Kate’s first official engagement since her surgery has been confirmed!

According to reports, the Princess will attend **Trooping the Colour** on **June 8**, one week ahead of the main event. This marks Kate’s return to royal duties and reassures those concerned about her health.

A statement from the **Household Division** explains that Kate’s role in reviewing Trooping the Colour will be similar to His Majesty the King’s, with the only difference being that some additional mounted officers are involved when the King is present. The event will feature over 1,400 soldiers, including **The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery** and **400 musicians** from the Massed Bands—an impressive sight, as always!

While there’s still a lot of curiosity surrounding Kate’s recovery—especially given the Palace’s limited updates—this fixed date for her return should help ease concerns. The Palace has already reassured the public, stating Kate is “doing well” and is recovering at her own pace, away from the spotlight.

For weeks, rumors and speculation about her health have circulated, fueled by the fact that Kate hasn’t been seen publicly since Christmas. That changed recently when a photo surfaced of Kate in a car with her mother, **Carole Middleton**, outside **Windsor Castle**. It was the first time she had been photographed in 70 days, sparking new discussions despite the Palace’s assurances.

We’re all wishing Kate Middleton the best as she continues her recovery. It’s wonderful news that she has a clear date for her return to royal duties, and we can’t wait to see her back in action this summer!
